Celebration of Life planned for Lt. William VanPeurseman on May 3 in Bangor
The Bangor Professional Fire Fighters and Professional Fire Fighters of Maine, in conjunction with City of Bangor Fire Chief Low and the Chiefs’ Staff, released information about a Celebration of Life for Lt. William VanPeurseman—known to colleagues as Billy V.—out of respect for his family during this difficult time.
The family will celebrate Billy’s life Saturday, May 3, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bangor Elks Lodge on Odlin Road in Bangor. Attendees are asked to wear casual attire. A memory book will be available to share Billy’s legacy, and attendees are asked to bring photographs and written memories to contribute. If you cannot attend, memories or photos can be emailed to Patsy at powersmith@chcs-me.org prior to the event.
In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory will be accepted by the Bangor Professional Fire Fighters.
