Since the beginning of 2024, BookReach has made significant strides in promoting literacy within local communities thanks to its dedicated volunteers. The program has reached 2,062 children, sharing a total of 1,686 books. In addition, there have been 252 local storytimes organized, and 115 books have been gifted to young readers.

Those interested in volunteering for BookReach can contact the BookReach Coordinator at bookreach@lewistonmaine.gov.
