Lewiston Announces New Hires and Staff Promotions

The City of Lewiston has announced several staff promotions and new hires across various departments.

James Avery has been promoted from Patrol Officer to Corporal in the Lewiston Police Department. Sara Turner has moved up from Children's Librarian to Deputy Director at the Lewiston Public Library, where she will focus on library operations and programming.

In the Public Works department, three new employees have been hired: Gregory Hayward as a Highway Worker, Dylon Harvy as a Custodian, and Joseph Bennett as a Building Maintenance Worker. Anna Goodwin has joined the Treasury Department as a Customer Service Specialist.

Kerry Brookes has been appointed the new Communications Coordinator for the City, bringing experience from her previous position at WMTH-TV. She will manage the City’s social media, news releases, and event planning.

The City of Lewiston is also seeking to fill additional positions, including Deputy Fire Chief, Police Patrol Officer, and Community Development Program Manager. Interested applicants can find more information and apply at the City’s jobs website.
