On October 11th, 2024, the Lewiston Police Department arrested 57-year-old Frederick Jackson on charges of Aggravated Sex Trafficking. The department began an investigation into Jackson for allegedly compelling women to enter into or continue to engage in prostitution. Jackson, who is currently on probation, is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail in connection with this investigation and additional charges. Authorities believe there may be more victims and are encouraging anyone with information to reach out to the Lewiston Police Department.
