In observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day, Lewiston City Hall will be closed on Monday, October 14. City services, including early voting, will resume on Tuesday, October 15, from 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM.

Curbside pickup will continue as scheduled on Monday; however, the Solid Waste Facility on River Road will be closed.

Indigenous Peoples' Day recognizes the cultures and contributions of Native peoples, including the Abenaki, who are the original stewards of the Lewiston area. For more information about the history of Indigenous Peoples' Day in Maine, visit the provided link.
