Voter Registration Deadline Approaches: Register by October 15

The City of Lewiston, Maine, has announced the deadline for voter registration. Residents have until Tuesday, October 15, to register to vote by mail or online. After this date, registration will only be available in person at City Hall or on Election Day at polling places.

To register online, voters should visit [Maine's voter registration website](https://registertovote.sos.maine.gov). For those opting to register by mail, applications can be downloaded, printed, and sent to the City Clerk’s Office at 27 Pine Street, Lewiston, ME 04240.

Voters are encouraged to register before the deadline to ensure their participation in the upcoming election. Once the October 15 deadline has passed, individuals may register in person at City Hall, located on the 2nd floor of the same address, during business hours. Registration in person requires proof of residency and identity.

For assistance or to request a registration application before the deadline, residents can contact the City Clerk’s Office at 207-513-3124 or via email at cityclerkoffice@lewistonmaine.gov. Maine allows residents to register to vote on Election Day as well.
